With more than 18 years of direct to consumer marketing experience, Susan Nia provides Funosophy’s clients a unique blend of brand and relationship marketing skills with a special focus on customer acquisition and retention leveraging direct response television advertising (DRTV) and online media. Nia creates turn-key campaigns with the objective of self-funding advertising, higher ROI, brand awareness and mass retailer distribution. Nia’s Funosophy clients include Razor, Creativity Inc., Disney and Star Wars licensees, LeapFrog Enterprises, and Ohio Art to name a few.
Prior to joining Funosophy, Nia served in senior management positions with powerhouse companies including Vivendi Universal, Symantec, Citysearch.com, and Williams Worldwide Advertising Agency where she led all aspects of campaigns including product configuration, media & creative development, and back-end logistics. Memorable successes include her campaigns for the Los Angeles Times, Direct TV, Wagner Power Products, Cruise Holidays to name a few. Additionally, Nia ran the in-house direct response ad agency of Primex Talking Yellow Pages, the leading DRTV daytime advertiser of its time.
Nia served on the initial committee that established the COPPA (Children Online Privacy Practices) and is tapped regularly by the Toy Industry Association to speak on cost effective ways to market products utilizing online and DRTV advertising.
