The dynamic design team of Lili Davidson and Robin Smith is a success in the toy design world due to its designers' unique brand of creativity and originality, filled with fun and whimsy, and honed by years of experience.

Robin and Lili met in 1986 at Mattel Toys as designers in the Large and Small Dolls group and quickly discovered that, although they came from different backgrounds, they were a perfect creative match.

Lili comes from Paris (the one in France!), where she studied fashion, illustration, and decorative arts. Her career in the U.S. has encompassed greeting card design for major companies and novelty products for the gift industry.

Robin is a real California girl, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in architectural metalsmithing and jewelry design. She designed for high-end jewelry houses and created original porcelain dolls, among many other endeavors.

Together at Mattel, Lili and Robin were instrumental in the creation of many top-selling dolls and doll lines, for which they were recognized with industry awards.

The duo holds multiple U.S. and international patents for toy inventions and designs and specializes in the creation of kids products including dolls, toys, baby products, and accessories, as well as various consumer goods. They are also renowned for their highly entertaining and dynamic product presentations, known as The Lili and Robin Show.
